Lectures
Professor John Buschmann (M.D., PhD) has held regular lectures in the medical faculty of the University of Technology, Munich since the summer term 1994. From the Summer Semester 2010 onwards, Professor Buschmann’s two lecture series will both be held under the aegis of the Institute for Real Time Computer Science. The two series are designed so that they complement each other nicely: the lectures on “Physiology and Applications in Diagnostics and Therapy” explain the most interesting functions of the body and organs including implications and applications for medical technology; the lectures on “Theory and function of selected medical equipment” deal with medical devices including the implications and applications for physiology i.e. to understanding the body for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes.
